¡Bem-vindo to our team! SNGULAR is the synergy between technology and talent. More than a fantastic team🦄, they are a way of being, an attitude and a way of facing challenges, always with a focus on human value.

They develop transformational projects in many sectors but you will be immersed in Atlassian. They don't expect you to give them their second Euro to Portugal, just expect you to defend yourself both on the back and on the front. So if you're interested, as Dory would say, Just keep swimming! 🐠

What will you do?

What? You don't know Sngular?

How Dare You Wtf GIF by Sky

Sngular is a global company with a local soul. Although they have offices in several countries, what sets them apart is their focus on people, collaboration and knowledge sharing.

At Sngular, the team comes first. They encourage continuous learning, autonomy and active participation in the technical community (they have their own Hub for events, talks, etc.). They are also committed to diversity, work-life balance and real flexibility, and this is reflected in their internal policies and benefits.

And in case you didn't know, yes, as the good Sngular people that we are, we´re part of Sngular💥 Plot Twist! So, if all this is not a good reason, the fact that we´ll be partners and see each other in teambuildings should make you hit the blue apply button 👀

It´s an ecosystem of agile, flexible and open to change teams. They believe that the simpler the organisational model, the faster the company can adapt to innovation and transformation cycles - which are becoming shorter and shorter.

They do not forget their roots as a startup, although they have grown to the point of having a presence in 8 countries, and today it´s ✨Sngular Portugal ✨who is looking for you. You will be part of a team of 10 people behind the development of Xray, the world's most widely used third-party app for Jira and Confluence.

So if you want to know more... Go ahead!

Your evolution

Your day ZERO

In 1 month

🛬 Time to hit the ground! You'll complete your onboarding process and make a splash in the culture. You'll get to know the different areas of the company and start to see how they work...

You'll have attended your first Friday Tutti - a meeting where all Sngulars attend to keep them up to date with what's going on in the company.

Your responsibilities

  • You´ll be involved in the design, development and implementation of software solutions

  • You´ll develop Fullstack solutions in a JavaScript environment, although your focus will be on the backend

  • You´ll work in a multidisciplinary team with a collaborative and continuous improvement mindset

  • You´ll collaborate to create quality code following best practices

How will you do it?

Let me describe the quintessential culture that you will also be part of:

SNGULAR's culture is very horizontal, and they place great value on their culture. Communication is not important - it's crucial! It may seem strange in a team of over a thousand people, but it's the reality. Ideas are discussed, people are respected, and successes are the result of collective effort.

They encourage the creation of spaces for dialogue, remote working and asynchronous communication. For those people who once said that remote working was impossible for an international company, with more than 1000 people, and listed on the stock exchange ➡️ We love you! -but you were wrong-.

When will you work?

The working day is flexible so there are no fixed working hours!

The least you could expect from an international company is a little flexibility, right? The important thing at SNGULAR is to add value, and for that you don't need to be a friend - or enemy - of a clock and a calendar.

In addition, from time to time you will be invited to enjoy a team building event. You’ll be working with team members from Spain and Portugal.

Who will you work with?

You´ll be part of Sngular Portugal, this team is made up of about 35 people, but in your squad there will be 10 of you, some of whom will be:

  • Sergio Viera (Project Manager)
  • Patricia Pereira (Team Lead)
  • Bruno Miguel Conde (hiring manager)

What are they asking for?

We're in the final stretch and now that you're almost in, you'll want to know if you're the right fit for them, and although they're not looking for a Cinderella size, they'll be looking for:

  • You´re a fullstack developer with a few years of experience in the JS environment, specifically with Node.js on the backend and frameworks such as React, vue or angular on the frontend.

What the FAQ?

They only accept applications from Spain or Portugal :)

The truth is that it is an urgent position so they will try to make the process as agile as possible, that's why you will go through:

  1. A first technical and cultural interview with part of the team, specifically with Sergio Viera and Patricia Pereira, to know about you at a lower level and you can ask all the questions you want about how your life would be there with them.
  2. A last meeting with HR to solve last doubts :)
