As a Senior QA Engineer at FCTG, you will be fundamental in scaling their platform globally, guaranteeing product excellence by automating testing across all the different third-party platforms, from Frontend to Backend 🚀

The ASI (AI Strategy & Integration) team is FCTG's internal AI Center of Excellence. They build and operate the AI products powering FCTG's next generation of travel experiences; including Sam, our agentic AI assistant for FCM's enterprise clients; Mel, its counterpart for Corporate Traveler; and Athena, our real-time travel disruption detection engine.

They operate with a startup culture grounded in FCTG's core values: irreverence, egalitarianism, ownership, and a find-a-way attitude.

Their stack:

Their ecosystem revolves around Python, FastAPI, and SQLAlchemy on the backend.
PostgreSQL for data and React driving the frontend.
They leverage REST APIs and WebSockets for real-time responses, all orchestrated via Kubernetes and Docker.

🧳 Boarding - Beyond meeting the squad and understanding their global infrastructure, you'll dive deep into travel industry lingo. You'll create the QA team's frameworks and workflows, exploring every corner of the web platform and mobile App to ensure you have all the tools to succeed.

Tus responsabilidades

Test non-deterministic systems, specifically AI chatbots that function across multiple third-party platforms.
Evaluate probabilistic responses across these diverse systems.
Participate in product definition and analyze requirements.
Define the testing strategy and design test scenarios across all third-party platforms.
Review, plan, prepare, and execute tests.
Report bugs and validate fixes.
Automate, monitor, and maintain tests.
Simulate execution and evaluate performance.

This position is 100% remote, so as long as you make sure you have a good connection, you can work from wherever you want. Whether by land, sea, or air.🌍🛰️

In addition, the group has offices all over the world (more than 70 spread across four continents), so if you are traveling and feel like working in London, Boston, Singapore, or Brisbane, you will always be welcome.

The AI Team meets at least once per year and there are opportunities to meet regionally at least a couple of times per year.

The team that you will be working with embraces experimentation and aren't afraid of trial and error, knowing it's the only path to building software that users genuinely love. On a daily basis, you'll work closely with the Product Managers and Engineers in Spain, North America and colleagues across the globe. To give you a feel for the people you'll be collaborating with:

Rey Garcia VP of AI Strategy and Daniel Senyard SVP of Commercial Platforms and Innovation will be your primary guides during the onboarding journey, serving as your technical compass and main point of contact as you settle in.

¿Qué piden?

At least 5 to 7 years of experience working as a QA engineer:

An AI advocate: you naturally integrate these tools into your routine, from crafting automated tests and documenting issues on GitHub to producing synthetic data to optimize your efficiency.
A Best Practices Guru: you will lead the way in AI empowered quality assurance, shifting from manual work to orchestrating intelligent agents that handle testing and documentation autonomously. Capable of educating others through internal communication channels on best practices.
Proactive mindset: willing to "shatter the norm" and suggest improvements to current practices, not afraid of being the reference in the QA discipline within the company.
Very good communication skills, both oral and written.
An advanced level of English: FCTG is a multinational company and you will communicate daily with an international team.
