🫵🏻 What is your role in all this?
They are looking for a Senior Product Designer who is strong at making complex software understandable, coherent and usable solutions.
This is not primarily a screen-production role. We work on products with complex workflows, large amounts of information, different user roles and permissions, and decisions that need to remain coherent as the products evolve.
They’re looking for someone who can understand those systems, turn them into clear interaction models, and bring strong visual judgment to the resulting experience.
You’ll work closely with Product Managers and engineers while problems are still being shaped, rather than receiving a finished specification and turning it into screens.
While Product Managers focus on outcomes and business logic, designers take the lead in the design of complex workflows, interaction models and reusable experience patterns. Engineering ensures production-grade quality and technical integrity throughout.
They don’t expect designers to own every single screen. Instead, you’ll build the systems and establish the patterns and guidance that empower the rest of the team to build coherent experiences.
This is the ideal environment for someone who thrives on crafting high-impact experiences for the customer while simultaneously refining the architectural foundations of the product.

Tus responsabilidades
Understanding complex customer and product problems and turning them into clear workflows, states and interaction models.
Designing experiences that account for different roles, permissions, dependencies, errors, edge cases and recovery paths.
Working directly with Product Managers and engineers to shape solutions before implementation begins.
Establishing strong visual hierarchy and interaction patterns across complex, information-rich products.
Contributing to the design system, including component behaviour, reusable patterns, accessibility and documentation.
Building realistic prototypes using our production design system and modern AI-assisted development tools.
Reviewing implemented work for interaction quality, responsiveness, accessibility and visual fidelity.
Conducting research or working directly with customers and internal experts when the workflow is not yet well understood.
Building deep knowledge of the customers, domain and products you work on, and turning that knowledge into reusable patterns and guidance.
Helping Product Managers and engineers solve design problems without automatically taking ownership of every piece of design work.

Design-system rules live where both people and AI tools can read them: Storybook, component documentation and the MD files that govern Cursor and Product Design partners with senior front-end engineering to keep those rules current. Using tools like Claude Design or Cursor, Product Managers develop solutions directly within the established architectural boundaries.
Designers at Centellic operate deep within the real product, crafting high-fidelity prototypes with production-grade components and AI assistance, moving far beyond the limitations of static mockups.
They value your intrinsic design intuition and learning agility over mastery of any specific codebase or software suite.
You should feel at home when:
- Working with an existing component library and design system.
- Evolving and refining complex, interactive prototypes.
- Grasping front-end mechanics well enough to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
- Integrating AI tools as part of your design and prototyping workflow.
While tech stacks will inevitably shift, your clarity of thought regarding the product experience remains our priority.
The team is building an entire new Product Design path and redefining how design collaborates with engineering. They are evolving alongside AI. As a result, the new designer will have the opportunity to define this workflow and partner with the Head of Applied Innovation (Cara) to finalize its evolution 🚀 .
¿Cuándo trabajarás?
Since the team is distributed, you’ll be expected to maintain a five-hour overlap with the UK and a one-hour window with US Eastern Time. Remoto
This position is 100% remote, so as long as you make sure you have a good connection, you can work from wherever you want. Whether by land, sea, or air.🌍🛰️
The role is Spain based and working remotely as part of a distributed international team.
Every year, the entire team gathers for Tech Week, alternating between London and the US; typically, our Spain-based colleagues travel to join the London edition.
¿Con quién trabajarás?
Centellic is currently expanding its Product Design capability, moving away from siloed ownership toward a model where senior designers operate as a cohesive, shared practice.
While you will develop expertise in particular domains, you'll regularly partner with colleagues to exchange on critique, visual craft, interaction patterns, design system decisions and complex challenges ❤️🔥
You'll be one of two senior Product Designers being hired to make this framework work in practice; each anchored to a primary product area, but expected to rely on each other in exchange on critique, visual craft, interaction patterns, design system decisions, complex challenges and reusable patterns.
The team is distributed between the UK and the US so you will work mainly in the UK time zone with some US schedule overlap.
Your daily routine involves deep collaboration with Product Management, Engineering, and the data science group, as well as legal editorial experts. Cara, Head of Applied Innovation, will guide your onboarding and serve as your direct report, partnering with you in your day to day.
The Product and Tech organization currently consists of approximately 90 people. You will mainly collaborate with leadership roles, as Product Design partners with Engineering and Product Management from the earliest stages of solution shaping. Consequently, your primary daily collaborators will be Lead, Staff, and Principal Engineers, alongside Product Managers across various domains.
