“Data beats emotions.”

We are on the verge of becoming one of the most successful companies, reaching a break even in less than a year 😏. And just, by being truly diligent about caring for companies' data. Are you ready to help us achieve this and much greater feats?

What will you do?

CQISense is a customer-focused data company, providing outstanding data insights through correlation of companiesʼ dimensions. Conwayʼs law is eventually happening in every company, so they stood up and shows that breaking silos is profitable, and a fun 🥳 problem to solve.

“Big data is dead, long live big data.” Theyʼ ve tried and just a few succeeded. Data is useless unless focus and knowledge take place. Companies are growing faster than their ability to understand customersʼ processes. That is where their product shines, proving that customer care is not a department but a whole company goal.

They know why data is hard, it is all about context. Information is just a breadcrumb unless. After 15+ years in the Telco field, founders become experts in translating complex problems to clear processes, and they are ready to productionize it 🏭. The aim is simple, create the most comprehensive and detailed data aggregation company in the world, and they will need you to make it real.

Your evolution

CQISense
Your day ZERO

In 1 month

You will know all the jargon (ARPU / CHURN / OLT / etc..) about data aggregation for telecommunications companies and push in production data pipelines insane amount of data. You will participate in a ton of product definition meetings and if you will win them in some of the outdoor activities we like to do some time.

Your responsibilities

  • You will create, maintain and improve data pipelines, end to end, from the far end of a data point in a cluster of servers across the ocean to fine-tune the graph in the customer report website.

  • Provide guidance and lead others solving data integrations between ML, ETL, cloud storage, and all the pieces involving stream and pipelining information in real-time.

  • Work with a focused fast-paced team, integrating your knowledge and expertise with the needs and skills of the whole team.

How will you do it?

They believe in great people do great products so, they are obsessed hiring great people first. As you can expect, they build things iteratively and focusing on functional delivery while keeping impressive operational delivery times and best practices, they love what they do and it permeates On what they create.

🌊The Spice must flow 🌊

"LISTEN TO ME!! The spice must flow… the spice has given me accelerated evolution for four thousand years… it has enabled you to live two hundred years… the spice helps make the sapho juice, which gives the red-lipped mentats the ability to be living computers… the secret side of spice… the water of life."

Dune (1984)

They love to see the data flowing, and for so will end knowing by hand KPIs, Tracing Alerts, Logs, and Fitness functions to foresee operational bottlenecks and prevent them. They like to keep things simple, you know how hard is to synthesize the simplicity out of deep complex structures, right?

They put on production every couple (of tens) of times a day, and they will like to increase our delivery time even further, so any tips are welcome!

To organize the delivery, they use Scrum adapted to the size of the team and the needs, and they use Kanban boards to organize splits. This process is iterative ans is always improving: the challenge is to create real engineering processes as the team grows.

Talking about their stack: they build everything with Python 🐍 (Sanic and Swagger) and Go. The aim of the project is to Keep It Simple, always, because "Simple is better than complex". The infra is build with Terraform + Terragrunt, with a simple scope, as same as CI/CD, with GCP and its tools (like Couldbuild). The communication between teams and members is via Slack and Jira, and they are looking to improve their ticketing system.

When will you work?

They have real flexible working hours. They only expect you to be available at the usual times of the day, 9:00h to 18:00h. (CEST - Madrid) with one hour for lunch up to you. The rest of the time, you can be working before or after this shared time with the whole company. Some people have different needs, like taking kids from school, and theyʼ re committed to having a great work-life balance ⚖️ for everybody.
