Hi! I’m Jose, a full-stack engineer with a focus on backend development.

I’ve worked for a decade as a developer at a clinical research company. I’ve designed, programmed, maintained, and validated all of the company’s software projects over the past ten years. That’s why I consider myself a full-stack engineer.

I’ve designed and implemented databases, taken over legacy platforms built in classic ASP and modernized them to Golang and Vue, deployed applications using IIS and Nginx, dockerize old and new software, prepared validations that have passed audits, collaborated with QA on drafting procedures for the company, and provided phone and email support to users and clients. I’ve also trained my colleagues in all of these areas.

Code is written once and read countless times, which is why I started using Go. Once you learn it, the code is very easy to read and navigate.

And when I have to do something tedious, I automate it so I don't have to do "tedious" again.
