General information
Introduction
Hello! I’m Jesús Gómez, a Software Engineer from the University of Cádiz.
I’m passionate about software development and technology—it has always been my calling. 😊
In my first role at Digital LABS, I developed and maintained the infrastructure for automated e-commerce management and seamless integrations. Our team followed agile methodologies, ensuring adaptability and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. We supported numerous national and international e-commerce stores, including global brands, helping them integrate their businesses into today’s leading marketplaces.
After contributing to the development, organization, and testing of our architecture, I was promoted to Team Leader. In this position, I led the migration of our legacy system to a cloud-based environment built around CI/CD practices, reducing security risks across intranet, extranet, and VPN environments, and improving access for both developers and end-users.
Currently, I work at SNGULAR as a Mid Software Engineer, supporting Inditex in the development and maintenance of their microservices ecosystem. I work primarily with Spring (AMIGA) and Kafka (PIPE), ensuring a smooth and efficient transition from legacy systems to microservices. We follow agile (SCRUM) methodologies, adhering to Inditex’s best practices for GitFlow, repository structuring, and code quality. The company promotes Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Hexagonal Architecture as standard approaches, alongside classic design patterns to ensure maintainability and scalability.
I hold certifications in Spanish (native), English (C1 – Cambridge), and German (A2 – EOI), which allow me to work effectively in international environments. I’m currently preparing to obtain my C2 English certification.
Outside of work, I enjoy designing, developing, and maintaining home labs for a variety of purposes—from network experimentation to testing new software solutions.
I’m always looking for new opportunities to keep learning and growing as a professional, and I welcome any chance to improve and expand my skills.
